Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-01-04 Summary: Forget Using The Easy Link Installation CD ... I spent an hour trying to get my Dell Laptop connected to the Linksys WRT54GS router, using the installation CD, and another unsuccessful hour on the phone with customer service, only to be cut off. I then went online, with my laptop wired to the router, to [..], then to the easy link, and within minutes was magically connected. IT WAS GREAT!!! My Dell D610 laptop works super fast using this router, with no glitches, or disconnects. I like it. ...more

[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-01-06 Summary: No Way Could I Have Done This Alone ... Great product once I got it hooked up. It required a call to the service center to connect to my i-Mac. It might prove easier to connect to with a Windows product. ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-01-01 Summary: A good product ... I purchased this product after comparing it with the HP officejet 6480. I chose this one because of networking problems and software problems associated with the HP. The networking setup was a breeze on two laptops - the instructions were really pretty good. The printing is really fast. My only complaint and what keeps me from giving this printer a five star rating is the deceptive "double-sided" printing capability. This is not a duplexer as I assumed it was. In order to print double sided you have to print on one ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-12-28 Summary: Easy to set up & works great! ... Really happy with this purchase. Set up was easy & did not take long - DO just read the manual and follow it step by step. I set mine up on my home wireless network. Scans to the desktop, both from the glass and from the auto doc feeder. Copies, prints wirelessly. I'm not using the fax function so I haven't tested that. Also comes with a decent set of software (I've been doing some OCR today), but it's not too intrusive. For the price, I'm thrilled. ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-12-24 Summary: Working Printer!! ... I bought this printer to replace the hp all-in-one that was MUCH more trouble than it was worth. This works great, doesn't do anything bazaar, the hp required software twice because the included software was corrupt. They knew this, but waited for the customer to contact them. Great service. Anyway, this printer works great out of the box, no problems. You can buy large black ink cartridge to keep costs down. Has not paper jammed or anything, wifi works perfectly with XP. No complaints. ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-01-06 Summary: Very pleased ... I got this to replace an HP printer, primarily to add a scanner function. Unfortunately, I haven't spent much time printing photos, so I can't review the photo print quality now. I did find it straight forward to set up and use. I initially tried to use Airport Express, but since this does not support scanners, I started over and used the built-in wireless. This worked fine. My favorite feature is the auto-opening out feed tray. You can close all of the trays for a clean look, and when you print it will open automatically. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-01-06 Summary: Caveman simple ... I know absolutely nothing about computers. I did some researching on printers and chose the Canon mp620. I had installed and printing wirelessly in just over an hour. I was in shock that everything worked the first go at it. Taken into consideration, I already have wireless internet with a router. Thankfully I was blessed with the gift of knowing how to read. Honestly, that's all you need to get this thing working. I followed the manual step by step and had no problems. ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-11-21 Summary: Good for the price ... It works perfectly fine once I plug it in. Without the additional software, the media (play, mute, etc), mail, and web buttons work. One thing I found interesting is that the wireless mouse just needs one battery to function. The reason it's not 5 stars is because the material does feel plasticky cheap but it gets the job done at a low price. ...more

[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-01-06 Summary: I love it ... Its just what we needed and the price was great! I do worry a little since printing on two sides requires opening a tray everytime and replacing the paper. So far no problem, but some parts are a bit flimsy so I hope it lasts. ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-01-06 Summary: Set up not for novice ... I picked this Brother laser printer because it was recommended as Editor's Choice in PC magazine. I'm a novice where installing PC hardware is concerned and had problems hooking up wireless. I ended up asking my friend who is an expert in network. I expected him to hook the printer up with no problem but even he had some problems trying to make the computer communicate with the printer. I'm very happy with the printer once it was properly set up but ease of set up wireless? Not for users who are not familiar with configuring ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-12-29 Summary: Solid Connection ... This little guy set up easy and connects solid. It is obviously a little bit incovenient to have an external receiver with another usb wire but it's not bad on a desktop if you have room. I use one on an XP machine and the other on a Vista machine, both worth impeccably. Never dropped my WiFi connection (unlike others I have owned) and speed always seems to stay at 54Mbps even when 100ft and 2 floors away from my WiFi base station. CON's: Not a biggie, but worth a mention... Instructions placed on top of everything else in the box state ...more
